About Jesh:
Jesh de Rox is a researcher and founder who has spent 25 years studying how human bodies create and transfer data through biological networks.
Growing up largely isolated, Jesh became fascinated by the ephemeral emotional signals that arise between people—subtle, powerful forces that seemed to shape behavior, identity, and possibility in ways difficult to measure or explain. His early career as a photographer allowed him to explore this directly, where he developed techniques now experienced by millions of people to draw out and capture genuine emotional expression.
Over two decades of research and applied experimentation culminated in Coherence Theory—a proposed new understanding of the nature of intelligence. His work spans anthropology, systems science, cognitive dynamics, and AI design, with a focus on how intelligence emerges between agents rather than solely within them. Through his company HOURS, he is focused on building architectures that strengthen the conditions for emergent intelligence at individual, organizational, and species-wide scales.
